At The Jumping Off Place…

This author vividly portrays the moment of indecision before performing life’s most important acrobatic maneuver: The Leap of Faith.

The jumping off place,

Pursued by familiar disaster.

Flames, whirling winds,

Consuming the ground

on which you stand.

No time to consider,

You’ve waited too long.

Close your eyes.

Take a breath and let go.

Through surrender

You’re transformed…

  1. You are becoming more poetic every day- what a beautiful sum of my desired interpretation of this piece. I so greatly appreciate all of your support of my work and just being here as a friend. There have been and will be many more “jumping off places” (a phrase I borrowed from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous). With each one it gets a little easier – but still a big challenge at this stage of spiritual maturity. Ty for the reblog. Blessings to you and yours!
